In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Madison Pruitt, age 18 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.
Jarrod Kennedy, age 32 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 3rd degree domestic violence.
Jason McGatha, age 43 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge of improper tag.
Nickey Jenkins, age 49 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.
Aja Gipson, age 34 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 3rd degree domestic violence and criminal littering.
Brandon Sullins, age 33 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of criminal trespass littering and 3rd degree domestic violence.
Christopher Dix, age 50 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on previous charges of 4th degree theft of property and 3rd degree criminal trespass.
Roger Patty, age 58 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 1st degree theft of property.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 113 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
