COLLINSVILLE – Despite being out-hit 12-5, the Collinsville Lady Panthers defeated Fyffe 8-6 in area softball action on Monday.

Lexii Burt came away with a hit and drove in four runs. Bella Wills delivered a double, a walk and a run. Jemma Smith walked three times, had a hit, a run and a RBI. Aubrey Reeves had a hit, two walks and two runs. Ella Coker contributed a hit, a walk and a run.

Carlee Davis walked twice, scored a run and drove in two. Gabriella Whitmore finished with a walk.

Smith earned the win after working 6 1/3 innings. She gave up four earned runs on 12 hits with a walk and six strikeouts. Wills tossed 2/3 of an inning with a strikeout.

Collinsville plays at Asbury on Tuesday.
