Thomas Thad Allen, age 84 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, April 08, 2025 at Atrium Health Floyd Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Perry Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Larry Girard officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM till time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Acers Allen; son, Todd Allen (Megan); step-son, Teddy Crawford; step-daughter, Tracy Christopher; brothers, Steve Allen and Michael Allen; sister, Debbie Fugate; 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andy Allen.
