From the National Weather Service in Birmingham:
A level 2 of 5 risk was included for the northern most areas, with the main threats damaging winds up to 60 mph and large hail up to quarter size. There is a lot of uncertainty with this system, including how much moisture will make it into the area and how far south the forcing and energy will actually make it. But for now, stay alert through the next 24 hours and stay tuned for updates
