CENTRE – The Cherokee County Lady Warrior tennis team blanked Oneonta 9-0 on Tuesday. It was their final home match of the season.

In No. 1 singles action, Ella Maples defeated Annie Doyal 10-3. In No. 2 singles it was Brooke Hincy defeating Riley Mason 10-0. Shirah Frost won her No. 3 match against Elorah Holland 10-0. Ava Martin managed a 10-1 win over Serenity Holland in No. 4 singles. Sophia Hayes had a 10-3 win over Rylee Epperson in No. 5 singles. Sarah Miller completed the Lady Warriors’ singles sweep with a 10-2 win over Lyann Scott.

In No. 1 doubles, Maples and Hincy defeated Doyal and Elorah Holland 10-0. Frost and Martin managed a 10-1 win over Mason and Epperson in No. 2 doubles. Hayes and Miller finished with a 10-0 win over Serenity Holland and Clare Maze.

The Lady Warriors play Jacksonville on Thursday at Jacksonville State University.
