In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Shana Canada, age 41 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of 1st degree theft of property.

Christopher Glover, age 48 of Rooperville, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Nathan Deaton, age 54 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the possession of obscene matter under 17, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Marsh, age 54 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Randi Wright, age 45 of Centre, was arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office on charges of four counts of 1st degree forgery.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 109 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
