In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Zachary Tillis, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 3rd degree criminal trespass and harassment.
Justin Smith, age 29 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree aggravated stalking.
Ashley Smith, age 36 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Johnny Martin, age 41 of Jacksonville, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on hold for another agency.
Wanda Chipman, age 53 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.
Tony McMurray, age 58 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree assault.
Lori Pizano, age 37 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation revocation.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
