Mr.Wallace Alvin Cothran, age 89 of Centre, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Cherokee County Health & Rehab.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, April 01, 2025 in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Cobb officiating, burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Wayne Cole, Jamie Walker, JR Hamilton, Jake Cothran, Jameson Cothran and Mason Peace.

Mr. Cothran is survived by his sons, Eddie Cothran (Stacy), Mitchell Cothran (Alice) and Michael Cothran (Becky); sister, Janice Norton; grandchildren, Hope Cothran, Jake Cothran, Emmy Cothran, Jameson Cothran, Alisha Peace (Michael) and  Cory Nelms; great grandchildren, Haley, Camryn, Emma and Mason; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Cothran; sister, Patricia Jordan; half-brothers, Lathran and Buford; half-sisters, Annie and Dorothy.

Mr. Cothran was the son of the late Lawrence and Birdie Amber McKnight Cothran and he was longtime member of Hebron Church.
