School Delays and Closings for Monday, March 31, Due to Weather and Wind Threat

Cherokee County School Superintendent Mike Welsh sent out notifications this afternoon alerting parents and students to a 3-hour delayed start to the school day due to threat of severe weather during the early morning.

 

Closings:

Gadsden City Schools

Etowah County Schools

Westbrook Christian School

 

Schools operating on a 3-hour delay on Monday morning, March 31:

Albertville City Schools

Attalla City Schools

Cherokee County Schools

Dekalb County Schools

Fort Payne City Schools

Marshall County

St. Clair County

 

Schools on a 2 and a half hour delay:

Calhoun County Schools

Oxford City Schools

Piedmont City Schools

 

Schools on a 2-hour delay:

Boaz City Schools

Cornerstone Christian School

The Donoho School

Faith Christian School of Anniston

Jacksonville City Schools
