In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Randall Clifton, age 40 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Morgan Thacker, age 36 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of alias warrant.

Justin Hanson, age 42 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as for failure to appear on a previous charge of fishing without a license.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
