In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Ralph Porter, age 59 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jimmy Roland, age 55 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Zachary Tillis, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence.

Gabriel Gerardo, age 31 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department, on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
