Update: ********Per The Collinsville Police Department Highway 68 Has Been Reopened*******

Collinsville- We have received  reports of a serious accident in Collinsville.

A Dump truck collided with a pick up truck on Highway 86 in Collinsville near the Old Armory location. This is at the top of the hill above trade day, headed into Sand Rock.

Reports are that Colinsville Police and Fire  are on scene and that the road could be closed for an extended period.

From the Collinsville Police Department:

“CPD and CFD have been on the scene of a fatality accident at Highway 68 East and the Armory for around an hour.

Highway 68 East will remain closed for an undetermined about of time. Please find an alternative route. “
