In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Nathan Mayhall, age 43 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Amber Smith, age 31 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 1st degree theft of property.

Phillip Morgan, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on previous charges of two counts of traffic violations.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
