Jay Howell to host Campaign Kickoff Event on Thursday, March 27

CENTRE, AL – Current Centre city councilman and mayoral candidate Jay Howell announced
this morning that he is hosting a campaign kickoff event on Thursday, March 27, at 5:00 PM
CDT. The event will be held at his business, located in downtown Centre at 111 W Main St,
Centre, AL 35960.

Howell stated, “I want this night to be about our community, not me. Sure, it’s technically my
event, but this night is about coming together—not only celebrating the beginning of an exciting
journey but also planning our vision for the next four years.”
On his campaign Facebook page, Howell shared that everyone is welcome to attend.
Contributions are not required but are greatly appreciated. Refreshments will be available.
The City of Centre’s municipal elections will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
