The Cherokee County EMA Director, Shawn Rogers, announced the Storm Shelters in the County will open today at noon.
Those Shelters are:
Centre Elementary School Gym
Leesburg FEMA Building
Sand Rock Community Storm Shelter
New Bethel Baptist Church Community Storm Shelter
Cedar Bluff School Basement
Basement of the Cherokee County Courthouse.
As A Reminder, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN SHELTERS
You will need to provide your blankets, snacks and water.
