SPRING GARDEN – Spring Garden spotted Sand Rock a pair of early runs, but the Panthers rallied to take a 12-2 baseball win in five innings on Friday.

Johnny Baker and Connor Bates both belted three hits to lead the Panthers. Baker also scored a run and had a RBI. Bates scored twice and drove in three runs for the Panthers.

Carson Bostick went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs, two walks and a RBI. Hayes Garmon was 2-for-3 with a walk and a RBI. Gray Simpson blasted a home run, had a walk, scored two runs and had three RBIs. Hunter Parris posted a hit and two runs. Brady Ruark and Noah Barber scored a run apiece.

Sadler earned the win after working five innings. He allowed no earned runs on three hits with three walks and nine strikeouts.

Lathan Amos led Sand Rock by going 2-for-3 with a double and a run. Caiden Bullard finished with a hit and drove in a run. Kane Robison walked twice and Ryker Woodall walked once. Cam Gifford scored a run.

Sand Rock is at Section on Monday at 4:30 p.m. Spring Garden hosts Section on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
