Sadler leads Spring Garden baseball past Jacksonville Christian

SPRING GARDEN – Clayton Sadler went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBIs to help the Spring Garden Panthers earn a 13-3 area baseball win in six innings over visiting Jacksonville Christian on Thursday.

Carson Bostick was 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI. Zane Edwards tripled and scored a run. Hayes Garmon doubled, walked twice, scored a run and drove in a run.

Joel Hunter had a hit, a run and three RBIs. Connor Bates contributed a hit, two runs and two RBIs. Grey Simpson had a hit with a run and a RBI. Hunter Parris also finished with a hit.

Brady Ruark scored two runs. John Welsh and Kaden Wood both scored a run.

Bostick earned the win after scattering three earned runs on seven hits with two walks and 10 strikeouts.

Spring Garden is scheduled to host Sand Rock on Friday at 5 p.m.
