COLLINSVILLE – The Collinsville Lady Panthers scored eight runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win a wild 21-19 softball game against Valley Head on Tuesday.

Maelee Barkley delivered the walk-off single to score the game’s final two runs. She went 2-for-4 at the plate with three walks, four runs and two RBIs.

Collinsville trailed 11-1 in the bottom of the third inning. The Lady Panthers scored four runs in the bottom of the third, three in the fourth, two in the fifth, three in the sixth and the final eight in the seventh. They finished with 14 hits in the game.

Lexii Burt went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a walk, two runs and five RBIs. Ella Coker also went 2-for-4, including a triple and a double, with a pair of walks, four runs and four RBIs. Bella Wills doubled twice, walked, scored two runs and had two RBIs. Jemma Smith went 2-for-4 with two walks, a run and three RBIs. Karly Middlebrooks was 2-for-5 with a walk, a run and two RBIs. Halle Peek finished with a hit, two walks, two runs and a RBI.

Collinsville travels to Sylvania on Monday.
