In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Sarah Valdez-Soto, age 39 of Crossville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation violation and for failure to appear on a previous charge of probation revocation.

Wanda Chipman, age 53 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance-Fentanyl, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
