Russel Smith, age 59 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Lott, age 21 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of fugitive from justice.
Thais Green, age 39 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditions of release violation.
Lori Weaver, age 53 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruction of justice false ID.
John King, age 42 of Saucier, Mississippi, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.
Jesus Medrano-Garcia, age 30 of Calhoun, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rickey Anderson, age 57 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jennifer Watts, age 44 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
