Boaz Man Arrested for Enticing Child

Albertville, AL – February 27, 2025 – The Albertville Police Department has announced the arrest of Roy Gongora Ramirez, 66, of Boaz, on charges of enticing a child for immoral purposes. The arrest follows allegations made by a juvenile victim from an incident that occurred in September of 2024.
According to the victim, while Mr. Ramirez was at her home, he offered her candy to follow him into the kitchen. Once there, the victim alleges that Mr. Ramirez began to attempt a sex act. A witness entered the room, causing Mr. Ramirez to stop and leave the residence before officers arrived.
Probable cause was established for an arrest warrant to be issued, and Mr. Ramirez was taken into custody on February 25, 2025. He has been transported to Marshall County Jail and is being held on a $200,000 bond. Further charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
