CENTRE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors dropped a 5-4 tennis decision to Gadsden City on Tuesday.

In No. 1 singles action, Cherokee County’s Ella Maples defeated Gadsden City’s Latika Prasadh 8-6. In No. 2 singles, Gadsden City’s Baylor Wilborn defeated Cherokee County’s Brooke Hincy 8-3.

In No. 3 singles, Cherokee County’s Shirah Frost defeated Elizabeth Al Hajazin 8-4. In No. 4 singles, Gadsden City’s Olivia Reynolds defeated Cherokee County’s Ava Martin 8-2. In No. 5 singles, Gadsden City’s Madison Cordi defeated Cherokee County’s Sophia Hayes 8-1, and in No. 6 singles, Gadsden City’s Lilly Troncale defeated Cherokee County’s Sarah Miller 8-5.

In No. 1 doubles action, Gadsden City’s Prasadh and Wilborn defeated Cherokee County’s Maples and Hincy 8-4.
