In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Sheldon Williams, age 48 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude, tampering with evidence, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Mary Morgan, age 40 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order-conditional release violation.

Terrance George, age 43 of Centre, was arrested by an unlisted agency on unlisted charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 122 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
