Mr. Robert W. Tucker, age 72 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Redmond Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2PM Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Moshat Baptist Church with Dr. Tony McCain and Bro. Andrew Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 1PM till the time of service Sunday at the Church. There will be a light meal served after the service.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn Tucker; daughters, Sherri De’Ann, Sandra Danielle and Olivia De’Shea; sons, Donovan Wendell Tucker and Charles Lamar Tucker; sisters, Casteline Gregory and Dorothy Foster; granddaughter; Claire Tucker; brother and sister-in-laws, Howard Thomas Hill, Jr., George Thomason, Theresa Diane Hill, Anthony Loyd Smith, John Paul Haynes, Deborah Lynn Orr, Scarlett Annie Thomason, Angela Magdelene Masengale and Nathan Phillip Thomason; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rena Kay Bell and Helen Deanie Shelton, brothers, Jim Gregory and Kenneth Bailey; brother in-laws, Tim Thomason.
Mr. Tucker was a native of Kentucky, the son of the late Fletcher and Rosa Bell Gregory. He was a member of Moshat Baptist Church, volunteered at Family Care Center for 10+ years and volunteered & sang at the nursing home. He was happily married for over 31 years and was a Godly Christian man who loved his wife dearly. He was an excellent and fiercely dedicated father to his 3 girls and he loved his sons.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mr. Tucker’s daughter’s college fund.
