Mr. Bobby Dan Abernathy, age 69 of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 4:00PM Friday, February 21, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Abernathy; daughter, Melissa Parris (Cary); son, Chris Abernathy; grandchildren, Nolan, Taylor & Camryn Parris and Alexa Abernathy; brothers, Billy Wayne, Gary Dale (Gina), Allen Ray (Sherry); sister, Martha Jean Barnes (Ronny).

Mr. Abernathy was a lifelong resident of Alabama and the son of the late Billy Gene and Mary Lee Abernathy. He was an avid gardener and woodworker, and he enjoyed fishing.  He also enjoyed going on vacations with his wife, children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a Food Bank.
