GADSDEN, AL – The Gadsden State Police/Public Safety Department is incredibly grateful for the support from Etowah County Commissioner Craig Inzer Jr. and the County Commission, who have provided funding to help us purchase bulletproof vests and body cameras for our officers.
Investing in officer safety and accountability is essential to our team and the communities we serve. These resources will strengthen our ability to protect and serve, ensuring that our officers can carry out their duties with increased confidence and protection. We are dedicated to creating a safer environment for everyone in Etowah, Calhoun, and Cherokee Counties.
We also want to thank Dr. Kathy Murphy for her continued support in helping us enhance safety across all Gadsden State campuses.
Chief Jay Freeman shared his appreciation, stating, “Providing our officers with the tools they need to stay safe and effectively serve our communities is invaluable.
