Rainbow City Woman Has Portion of her Chin Bitten off By Husband

This weekend there was a domestic disturbance in Rainbow City. A Call came in to 911, but no one was initially on the line. Officers were dispatched to the address of the call on Sutton Bridge Road, to find a domestic violence situation had occurred.  When officers responded they found a grisly scene. A female victim had blood on her face, and upon closer examination and talking with the victim, it was discovered that her husband had bitten her on the chin area. The wound was described by a witness as gruesome. The bite had removed a significant sized portion of the skin and flesh around her chin. WEIS Radio reached out to the Rainbow City Police Department regarding the incident, and recieved this statement from the RBCPD :

“On February 16th, 2025, at approximately 1:50 AM, officers responded to a 911 open line, possible domestic, in the 1400 block of Sutton Bridge Road.

Officers were able to locate the caller and began to investigate. The preliminary investigation revealed that a domestic incident had occurred, where a portion of the victim’s chin was believed to have been bitten off by the offender.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for her injuries.
Zeky Favius, 34, was taken into custody on scene and charged with Domestic Violence 2nd Degree, a felony. “
