In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

John Griggs, age 38 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of a revoked bond.

Holly Abernathy, age 50 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent.

Alex Poole, age 33 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of 1st degree receiving stolen property.

Jeffrey Epps, age 38 of Dawson, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 121 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
