The Oxford Fire Department Mourns the Loss of Longtime Firefighter Sgt. Bill Dempsey:

“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Oxford Fire Department Sgt. Bill Dempsey. Sgt. Dempsey served our city for 50 years as a volunteer firefighter. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Patti, his children and grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later this week. Sgt. Dempsey will be buried with full fire department honors.”
