In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Joseph Jackson, age 52 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 2nd degree bail jumping.
Seth Miller, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Ashley Ogletree, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of eighteen counts of the fraudulent use of a credit card.
Jakeb Pruitt, age 33 of Munford, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Wendy Mewbourn, age 49 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brittany Blanks, age 37 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of speed less than 25 mph.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 125 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
