In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jayson Robertson, age 29 of Alabama City, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge of harassing communication.

Michael Clackum, age 40 of Cedartown, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of four counts of probation revocation and for failure to appear on previous charges of 2^nd degree theft of property and 3^rd degree theft of property.

Jay Jones, age 40 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of probation revocation and for failure to appear on previous charges of trafficking methamphetamine, breaking and entering a vehicle, and 3^rd degree theft of property.

Christina Evans, age 36 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2^nd degree promoting prison contraband, two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 126 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
