SAND ROCK – Class 2A, No. 3 Sand Rock trailed by just two points heading into the fourth quarter, but No. 9 North Sand Mountain held on for a 60-46 girls basketball sub-regional victory to end the Lady Wildcats’ season.
Macey Pruitt led the Lady Wildcats with 17 points and seven rebounds. Maddie Clanton posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards. Peyton Johnson had six points and five rebounds.
Kaden Reyes topped the Lady Bison with 24 points. Madison Renfro finished with 14 points.
Sand Rock finishes the season at 24-7.
