It’s time for Pre-K Registration for the 2025-26 school year!

Open enrollment for Cherokee County Schools Pre-K runs through March 14.

Children must be four years old by September 1, 2025. No five year olds will be accepted. Registration must be completed online at https://prek.alaceed.alabama.gov.

All eligible children who register for Pre-K will be entered into a random drawing. Only those selected during the drawing will be invited to attend Pre-K.

The random drawing for the 2025-2026 school year will be held on Thursday, March 20, in Cherokee County Board of Education Stakeholders Success Center, located at 695 East Main Street in Centre, beginning at 8:30 a.m. for Cedar Bluff, 9 a.m. for Gaylesville, 9:30 a.m. for Spring Garden, 10 a.m. for Sand Rock, and 10:30 a.m. for Centre.
