Mrs. Evelyn Graham Pierce, age 86 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, February 05, 2025 at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Friday, February 7th at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, February 8th at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony McCain officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Lauren (Nathan) Wehunt, Colton (Katlynn) Pierce; Brother, Jimmy (Glenda) Graham; Great-grandson, Graham Wehunt; Great-granddaughter, Phoenix Pierce; Niece, Karen (Jason) Lowery; Daughter-in-law, Charlia Pierce; Several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Tim Brittain, Mark Rickman, Todd Twilley, Danny Cochran, Jason Lowery, Tom Maddox, and Randy Whorton.
Mrs. Pierce was known for her faith, love for the Lord, and love for her family. She loved to cook, bake, serve others, and sing. Evelyn was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church #2 and served in various ministries.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollen James Pierce; Son, George Thomas “Tommy” Pierce; Parents, Curtis Thomas Graham and Robbie Kerr Graham.
Flowers or potted plants can be sent to Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home. The family requests that any monetary donations can be sent to New Prospect Baptist Church #2 located at 120 County Road 741, Centre, AL 35960.
