Old Dominion‘s 7 For 7 Ryman Residency in Nashville is officially underway.

The seven-time CMA Vocal Group of the Year winners kicked off their headlining run on Monday with surprise guests Bear Rinehart from NEEDTOBREATHE and “Just Another Day in Paradise” hitmaker Phil Vassar.

“We are humbled that so many of our friends who we asked to join us for this special idea said yes and are showing up for something like this. We did these shows to say thank you to so many people: our fans, our friends, the songwriters, publishers, people who gave us a chance,” lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey shares in a statement.

“We figured we could give something back to charities that matter to us, but even more to take in everything that happened on the way to these seven CMA Group awards,” he adds.

Old Dominion will return to the Ryman stage on Tuesday and Wednesday for two shows each, before wrapping up with the seventh show on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the group’s now in the top 20 of the country charts with their latest single, “Coming Home.”
