The Class 2A, Region 7 football coaches have selected their all-region team. Pisgah quarterback Luke Gilbert was chosen as the Most Valuable Player. Offensive Most Valuable Player is Pisgah’s Legion McCrary. Co-Defensive Most Valuable Players are Pisgah’s Cape Duncan and Pleasant Valley’s Braxton Salster. Outstanding Athlete went to Pleasant Valley’s Jaden Sparks.

Joining Gilbert, McCrary and Duncan from region champion Pisgah (11-2) on the all-region team is JJ Williams, Alex Flores, Jett Jeffrey, Jackson Smalley, Caleb Jenkins, Landon Watkins, Wes Arnold and Levi Horton. Eagle honorable mention players are Talan Lang, Eric Williams, Jager Gilbert, Chad Smith and Kristian Raines.

Joining Salster and Sparks from region runner-up Pleasant Valley (8-3) is Hunter Sparks, Noah Johnson Cooper Dougal, Brayden Pappa, Nic Acker, Andre Luster and John Hanson. Raider honorable mention players are Kayden Vick, Jeffrey Hughes, Walker Roper, Luke Gunning and Hayden Hardy.

The Sand Rock Wildcats (5-6) have six selections in Kane Robison, Gatlin Cox, Gavynn Cunningham, Seth Holland, Caiden Bullard and Morgan Tucker. Wildcat honorable mention players are Brenden Lindsey, Grayson Lane, Ty Traffanstedt and Alec Ashley.

North Sand Mountain (5-6) received five selections in Kade Davis, Jack Johnson, Landon Keller, Wyatt Starkey and Alex Luna. The Bison also had five honorable mention players in Jackson Burgess, Dallas Cummins, Colton Haggard, Hayden Hall and Duncan Wilks.

Cedar Bluff (3-7) earned four selections in Hunter Jenkins, Hunter Stallings, Caleb Edmondson and Kadien Tracy. Tiger honorable mention players are Isaac Roberts, Bryson Teague, Jacob Chambers, Jayden Flynt and Dylan McDaniel.

Representing Gaston (3-7) is Keller Skaggs, Nate Oliver and Trey Johnson. Devon Green is an honorable mention.

Aaron Thomas and Jackson LeRoy were chosen from Section (1-9). Lion honorable mention players are Jonah Seeley, Isaac Saabedra, Landon Vaughn and Cooper Williams.
