COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson football student-athlete and Cedar Bluff graduate Corey Teague has been named an NAIA Football College Sports Communicators Academic All-American, CSC officials announced Tuesday.
Teague, a senior from Blanche, Alabama, majors in Business Administration and has a 3.58 GPA. He earns Academic All-American honors for the first time in his career and is the ninth different Blue Raider in program history to earn the recognition.
He is one of 27 student-athletes to earn the honor and the 27-man team has combined GPA of 3.81.
This past season, Teague earned All-Mid-South Conference First Team honors, Academic All-Conference Honors and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He anchored an offensive line that allowed just six sacks in nine games. The Blue Raiders averaged 307.1 yards per game and 26.6 points per game this season.
