In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Tonya Pannell, age 47 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge of 4th degree theft of property.
Mark Watkins, age 49 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on previous charges of driving under the influence, driving while revoked, and insurance violation.
Brandi Durham, age 36 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of non-support.
Sonny Rucker, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge of driving while license cancelled.
Amy Mayes, age 42 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of harassment and menacing.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 117 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
