In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Sherry Walker, age 62 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of harassment and 3rd degree domestic violence.

Johnny Washington, age 68 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, open container violation, driving while revoked, and plainly visible tag.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 119 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
