A Coosa High School student was reported to have a gun at School on Friday. The Resource Officer was tipped about the weapon on the Campus. The Officer made contact with the student and retrieved the handgun without incident and no one was injured, according to the police report.

The student was detained and charged. No other details are available at this time.
