GADSDEN – Maddie Clanton delivered 19 points and seven rebounds in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 57-28 area basketball victory at Gaston on Friday.
Peyton Johnson added 11 points for the Lady Wildcats (20-6). Macey Pruitt and Paitlyn Hughes both had seven points apiece. Molly Grace Lay collected seven assists, five boards and four steals.
Sand Rock hosts Sylvania on Tuesday for its senior night.
