The City of Rome is excited to announce the launch of its new text messaging platform designed to help residents stay informed and engaged with the latest updates from the city. With this new service, residents can choose to receive alerts on a variety of topics, from city news to public safety notifications. Signing up is as easy as sending a text.
Signing up for text alerts is easy: Simply text the keyword to 38276 from your cell phone. Your cell phone may try to autocorrect your keyword into two words, but to subscribe, the keyword must be typed as one word. It is not case-sensitive. To subscribe to more than one alert, simply text each keyword in a separate message. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP.
