In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Eli Careaga, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 3rd degree domestic violence and 3rd degree criminal trespass.
Jessica Amos, age 34 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 118 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
