Mrs. Jackie Johnson Helms, age 84 of Centre, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19 from 12:00-2:00 PM CST at Perry Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place following visitation at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Lindy Vizzinia officiating. A private interment will take place at Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband Lloyd Helms; daughter Cissy (Eric) Levin of Miami, FL; grandsons Chance and Brock Levin of Miami, FL; step-daughter Sonya (Jackie) Hale of Centre, AL; grandson Jesse (Aubie) Hale of Centre, AL; great grandchildren Samuel, Esmae, and Jethro Hale of Centre, AL; granddaughter Rachel (Trent) Dixon of Centre, AL; great grandchildren, Sadie, Willow, and Nash Dixon of Centre, AL, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late W.B. “John” and Edna Harris of Fort Payne, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her late-husband Travis “Ted” D. Johnson, son Anthony “Tony” Johnson, brothers Irby C. Harris and Ted Harris; sisters, Jimmie Faye Wilson, and Eddie May Harris.
Pallbearers include Eric Levin, Chance Levin, Brock Levin, Jackie Hale, Jesse Hale, and Trent Dixon.
The family will accept flowers, and would like to offer a special thanks to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
