PLEASANT VALLEY – Peyton Johnson tossed in a game-high 21 points to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 70-20 area girls basketball win at Pleasant Valley on Monday.
Molly Grace Lay and Maddie Clanton both scored 11 points for the Lady Wildcats (15-5, 5-0). Clanton also grabbed eight rebounds. Paitlyn Hughes and Kaylee Burns contributed six points apiece. Hughes also had 11 steals. Burns also posted nine boards. Megan Smith finished with nine rebounds and scored four points.
Sand Rock hosts Piedmont on Tuesday.
