Mr. Vincson “Ryan” Humphrey, age 33 of Ft. Payne, passed away on Thursday, January 09, 2025 at Advent Health Redmond in Rome.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Cherokee Memorial
Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnathon Kendrick officiating. Burial to follow in the Walker’s
Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include his son, Cayden Ryan Humphrey; daughter, RiLynn Elizabeth Humphrey;
Father, Gerald W. Humphrey Sr., of Piedmont; Mother, Denise (Niecy) Pruitt Humphrey of Ft.
Payne; Brothers, Cody (Brittany) Flynt and Gerald (Sabrina) Humphrey, Jr.; Grandmother, June
Pruitt of Piedmont, AL; Children’s mother, Josie Lynn Jackson; Nieces, Rachel and Brooklyn
Flynt; Nephew, Memphis Flynt; Several Aunts and Uncles and numerous cousins also survive.
Mr. Humphrey was a native of Dekalb County and was preceded in death by his grandparents,
Leon Pruitt and Billy and Eunice Humphrey. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avidwrestling and baseball fan.
Pallbearers will be Memphis Flynt, Jake Pruitt, Randall Cannon, Forrest Cannon, Joshua Leath,
Eddie Alvarado, Cory Sears, Andru (Bug) Hincy, and Daniel Studdard.
