On Monday, The Gadsden City Council unanimously approved the 16.689 million dollar project. The bid was awarded to Clements Dean Building Company of Wilsonville.
The new City Hall Complex will encompass the Merrill Lynch building which the City purchased and the Regions Bank Building with a connecting building to those structures.
Groundbreaking on the project is expected to take place in February with a projected completion time of 18 months.
