RAINBOW CITY – The Cherokee County Warriors jumped out on a 25-2 first-quarter run en route to a 73-37 victory over Ragland in the Westbrook Christian Holiday Basketball Classic on Saturday.
Reid Jacoway led the way for the Warriors (6-2) with 14 points. Nolan Neyman netted 13 points. Jayquan Diamond rang for 11 points. Cooper Allen added 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Tatum Perry finished with eight points.
D’Aundray Bothwell topped Ragland with 14 points. Jayden Sears came away with 11 points, including three treys.
Cherokee County plays Coosa Christian on Monday.
