ATTALLA – Ellisan Givens collected 19 points, seven steals, six assists and four rebounds in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 59-35 basketball win over Sylvania in the Etowah Christmas Tournament on Friday.

Deannia Starr added 12 points, nine rebounds, seven blocks, two steals and two assists for the Lady Warriors. Neveah Gaidurgis gained 12 points, six rebounds and four steals. Brooklynn Bruce and Jolie Alexander both finished with five points.

Avery Jenkins led the Lady Rams with 12 points. Molly Weaver and Aubrey Morgan both finished with eight points.

Cherokee County held a 17-8 advantage at the end of the first quarter and a 30-20 edge at halftime. The Lady Warriors built a 51-25 lead by the end of three quarters.
