ATTALLA – Nevaeh Gaidurgis and Ellisan Givens both netted 17 points in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 65-15 basketball win over Saks in the Etowah Christmas Tournament on Saturday.
Gaidurgis also had seven rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals. Givens had six assists and four steals.
Marie Crane came away with nine points, three rebounds and a steal. Jolie Alexander added eight points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Brooklyn Bruce had six points and a pair of steals.
Deannia Starr collected three points, six blocks, 10 rebounds and two steals. Vivian Connell contributed three points, three rebounds and two steals.
Madison Turner led Saks with seven points.
Cherokee County jumped out to a 20-0 first-quarter lead and held a 39-1 edge at halftime. The Lady Warriors led 56-7 at the end of three quarters.
